Thank You Dr. Bolan!! (and God of course!)
I started coming to Dr. Bolan one year ago. Since then there has been miraculous changes in my health.
In Jr. high and high school I participated in contact sports such as football and wrestling. I also was involved in gymnastics and trampoline activities. I was a very aggressive competitor, and I remember having numerous injuries to my head and neck during this time. Doctors never told me these head bangs in football, and these twists in wrestling and gymnastics would manifest itself into vital organ deterioration later on in life. In college wrestling it all started showing up. I herniated discs in my low back, dislocated ribs, and compacting my neck several times. I remember going to chiropractors to try and fix the problem. They twisted and cracked on me to the point that I finally ended up in the hospital with sever bulges in my thoracic lumbar discs.
I committed to myself at that juncture that I would never trust a chiropractor again. Some years later I began developing lots of stomach and gastro-intestinal problems. Doctors over the years tried to treat me with antacids, but the symptoms would just return.
One time they gave me shots in my back to stop the inflammation in my bulging discs. This made me very sick to my stomach, and swung me into a deep depression. I never felt this type of black cloud over me before. I also would have this awful metallic taste in my mouth, and smelled it in my noise all of the time. This lasted about nine months. The doctors never told me that these sick feelings in my stomach, awful smell and taste of metal, and the depression I was experiencing was from the steroids they pumped into my spinal fluid that made its way directly to my brain.
Slowly I began to feel worse and worse. About seven years ago, I developed kidney stones. The doctors said that some people just have them and some people dont. I was so perplexed to think that I was a very healthy athlete who can eat anything at any time and never feel sick, and now I have become a middle aged man who continues fight to just feel good.
According to the doctors, my kidney stones were coming from an over secretion of a hormone called PHT, or parathyroid hormone. They said that this hormone is produced in the parathyroid glands located in the thyroid gland in the neck. They took x-rays, ultra-sounds, and cat-scans of those pea sized glands in my neck, just to find nothing wrong with them. The doctor just calked it up to the fact that some people suffer with this and some people dont. Wow! What great medical advice, so I thought to myself.
This over secretion of parathyroid juices was causing a domino affect on other hormones and chemistries in my body. It was affecting my adrenaline, Cholesterol, blood pressure, heart rate, and digestive juices that were making me feel sick and tired all of the time. I felt bloated every time I would eat a good meal, I would wake up in the night so bloated I was unable to catch my breath, sometimes I would break out in a cold sweat, and feel like I was going to pass out in the middle of the night. I was getting very discouraged about this endless fight that doctors could not find any answers to.
Now, after one year of treatment, my wife and I look back at some dates prier to Dr. Bolans first visit, and we are amazed in the change of my health.
I knew I was still too young and healthy to feel as bad as I did one year ago. I thought I was slowly dying. And after coming to Dr. Bolan, and he looking at my X-rays, he said I was dying. If I wouldnt have found Dr. Bolan, I may not have lived very many years later. I know because of the sever condition of my neck and back, my internal organs were slowly shutting down because of the nerves in my neck were pinching off the thyroid area. The Medical doctors would have never caught this until it was too late. It would have developed into an incurable disease, and I would have been a goner before my time. There are now disc spaces in my neck and the vital curve I need for health is returning. I can eat better, exercise more, and sleep better.
I still have a ways to go, but it is a far cry from where I was.
